Consumer Unit
Upgrades

At Dowrick Electrical, we provide expert consumer unit upgrades in St Austell, helping homeowners improve the safety, reliability, and efficiency of their electrical systems. Whether you have an outdated fuse board, are renovating your property, or need to meet current electrical regulations, our qualified electricians can install a modern consumer unit designed to protect your home and family.

A consumer unit, often referred to as a fuse board, is the heart of your property's electrical system. Older units may lack the safety features found in modern installations, leaving homes more vulnerable to electrical faults, shocks, and fire risks. Upgrading to a new consumer unit provides enhanced protection through modern circuit breakers and residual current devices (RCDs), helping to quickly disconnect power if a fault occurs.
